INVITING ALL PEOPLE TO FAITH
Here at Faith Lutheran Church we strive to be a welcoming, growing family of faith. We seek to create an atmosphere of love and community within our walls, so that together we can bless the city of Spencer and beyond.
First Time Visitor?
Come a few minutes early – we’ll have coffee and donuts available, and we start announcements around 5 minutes prior to the service starting. We also have fellowship after the service where you can meet and greet with other members of our church.
COME AND WORSHIP
Service Times and style
We have Sunday morning worship services each week at 9:00am. We have a blended service with traditional and contemporary elements. Communion is offered on the 1st and 3rd Sundays, and we always have a rich, Bible-based message to encourage you in your walk with Christ.
Learning Together
We love enabling everyone to dig into their faith. We have Adult Bible Study and small groups to minister to adults, and confirmation classes and High School youth group for our middle and high school students. Our youngest members enjoy learning Bible stories in Sunday School, and we also include a children’s message during the regular service to engage on their level.
GO AND WORK
We support our local community of Spencer by partnering with ATLAS of Spencer,
Upper Des Moines, and Grand Avenue Community Outreach. We donate a portion of the offering received each week to these organizations.

UPCOMING EVENTS
Ash Wednesday marks the start of Lent, and we will have our Ash Wednesday service on February 18th at 6:30pm. The remaining Wednesdays in Lent (Feb 25 and Mar 4, 11, 18, and 25) we will have potluck at 5:30pm and a brief service at 6:30pm.
Upcoming Events
Faith is having a Pop-Up Choir on March 29th for the Palm Sunday Worship Service and will be singing "Holy Forever" by Chris Tomlin. Interested in joining? Sign up here, at the Welcome Table, or find the link under 'GET INVOLVED'; rehearsals are each Sunday at 10:30am.
